Welcoming the winter

Last week Sunday, May had a grand entrance as winter doors were opened.

Iโ€™m not a big fan of the cold but Yaaaaay! Winter dress up๐Ÿ˜Š

Itโ€™s actually one of the few things i love doing, simply because itโ€™s easiest to dress in winter than any other season. Layering is the only way to beat the cold! And no one can go wrong at this.

With an opportunity to dress for the season presented, I turned to my favourite pink coat and my whole outfit had to find a way to fit in.

I normally wear skirts and dresses only to church (my own rule) but, it was arguably the first day of winter lol. It wasnโ€™t that cold but it was cold enough to make me amend my own rules.

I wore a plain black top paired with a pair of leggings in a dark shade of grey, a pair of pink nude and black heels with a gold topline. And for accessories, had a few gold midi rings, a black and gold neck piece (the gold part is covered by the scarf) and a beautiful handbag in the same colour family as the heels.

Feel free to share your thoughts and your winter outfits.

    1. yeah, in summer you have a lot to play with unlike in winter but what makes winter dress up easy is the fact that you don`t have to put much effort into your outfit ๐Ÿ™‚ an effortless winter outfit would probably just be a pair of boots, a jacket and a pair of leggings(either boots or jacket can be a statement piece)
