2017 FASHION TRENDS| LACE UP!

Hey darlings,

I know this was supposed to be up on Sunday but eeeeerm guys the books are killing me and if I schedule posts I feel like they lack some element. I would really appreciate it if you could be patient and loyal as I may miss a post here and there but will definitely do my best to stay true to y’all and keep to posting on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday 🙂

Today we are all about one of this year’s fashion trends which could be a favorite of mine because of its depiction of femininity.

Lace is definitely the in thing. If you watched or caught up on this year’s Grammys I’m sure you would have noticed that lace was boss on the Red Carpet. Even Giuliana Rancic had her moment in a little flirty white dress by Celia Kritharioti. Another outstanding trend on the Grammys Red Carpet was the keyhole cutout on many of the celebrity dresses but hey today we are only focused on lace.

The dress I am wearing here is from Edgars and I got it as a gift from a friend and this was an impromptu “shoot” with my phone so picture quality is pretty bad #coverseyes.

This dress has a nude lining and black lace. While the nude lining gives a sexy vibe, the lace is flirty and  playful and the length of this particular dress is just perfect for someone who does not want to send out the wrong message. I feel like saying this may be perfect for a lunch date. I don’t know if you guys agree with me but I definitely think this is something I would wear to a lunch date whether it’s with Mr Right Now lol or with girlfriends. Pair it with a pair of sandals for a comfortable girly look. Pairing this with heels may end up looking too sexy – that’s a look you may want to save for a romantic date with Mr Right.

That black band around the waist really creates definition of the female form and adds to the femininity of lace.

Makeup has to be on fleek at all times. Ha ha jokes, I don’t wear makeup all the time. Once in a while you catch me with my face all polished up like this.

My fav cat eye shades just had to feature.

I’d really love to know what you think of this lace post or the trend in general. Please leave a comment below and feel free to share your opinions.

Love and light.
